Shooting at MBMFW 201

Beauty shots for Yo Dona Daily magazine at Mercedes Benz Madrid Fashion Week. I just had few seconds with the models. Also we had the chance to shoot a Star Wars stormtrooper! everything was done with a H5DII and the standar 80mm lens.

We did some shots for "Latino", exhibition curated by TAI school of visual arts for PhotoEspaña 2015. Was a fun shooting with Pachamama Collective, a group of artists and musicians from more than 10 countries. Really nice people. This work was awarded with an Honorable Mention at the IPA Awards in Los Angeles.

Finalists at the Hasselblad Masters 2016!

Im one of the 10 selections from 10.400 participants in the “Fashion / Beauty” category! Is an honor to be chosen from all these great photographers and be between the 10 first. There´s a lot of great photographers out of the finals so let's go celebrate. Thanks to my team who help me day by day to do what i most love.

Portraits of my father

Some portraits of my father. Shot against a white wall with a cheap silver umbrella and a Canon Speedlight. There is no reason to spent tons of money to do effective portraits. One of these days i will tell you more about this man.

First shots with Fuji FP-100

Here is a test of the Fuji FP-100 film. Recently i purchase a Polaroid 405 back, who allows me to use this film with 4x5" film cameras. This is the last instant sheet film in production, after Polaroid ended his production.

The test was shooted with a Graflex Speed Graphic and a Schneider Kreuznach Symmar S 210mm f5,6, a really cheap and impressive lens for portrait photography with large format.

Portraiture with one light and black background

Here is an example of what you can reach with one light and a little bit of sense. There are two portraits of one of my pals in Burgos. The shots was taken with a speedlight flash and a silver umbrella. Is a inexpensive set very affordable and quick. A black backdrop was used for background, holded with two clamps.

I am delighted with what can be done with a cheap camera with a modern canon mount and a good 35mm film. Take these pictures of my friend Joaquin in a fencing competition in which I was recently.
